What we collect. Your name, chronotype, goal, and the optional health snapshot you provide (age, height, weight, injuries, conditions, allergies). Your daily check-ins (sleep, energy, soreness, training, resting heart rate), your schedule blocks, and your location, only when you tap "use my location." Chats with the landing-page assistant are sent to Cloudflare for AI processing to generate replies; they are not stored.
Where it lives. In your browser's local storage, on your device. Cadence operates no database of its own; we never see or hold your profile, check-ins, or schedule. The one exception is the assistant chat: when you ask Cadence a question, your typed message is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate the reply. If you turn on "Include my profile in chat answers," your name, chronotype, goal, health notes, current weather and air quality, and today's plan go with it so answers can be specific. Chat data is processed in memory and never stored. With the toggle off, only your typed message leaves the device.
Google connections. When you connect Google Calendar or Google Health, authorization happens directly with Google and the access tokens are stored only in your browser. Calendar access starts read-only; the separate permission to add events is requested only if you tap "Add to calendar" on a planned block, and only that block is written. Your data travels directly between your device and Google; Google's own privacy policy governs their handling of it. You can revoke access anytime at myaccount.google.com. Cadence's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google sign-in (optional). If you sign in with Google, your name, email address, and profile photo come directly from Google to this device and are stored only here, with the rest of your Cadence data. Cadence keeps no user accounts on its own servers, so we never see or hold them.
Third-party calls. Weather and air quality come from Open-Meteo (your coordinates are sent with the request, no account or key). Pollen comes from Google's Pollen API (coordinates sent with the request).
What we never do. We never sell, rent, or share your personal data. We run no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.
Your control. Delete everything Cadence stores by tapping Delete in Settings, or by clearing this site's data in your browser. Disconnect Google services anytime from inside the app or from your Google account.
Questions. Contact the Cadence team through the Ask Cadence chat in the app.
